Anyone try to duplicate their suiza sauce, the one they use in the chili rellenos?

Are you going to duplicate there brown/red sauce AKA enchilada sauce. I loved their food and am so sad they are gone. Been going to them since their site in Newark.

Loved El Burro. Been going there since the mid 80s. 1st with my parents and going continuing the tradition with my wife and kids. I would choose to go to El Burro whenever possible if it was my choice but definitely picked El Burro for my Birthday and Father’s Day dinner. I loved the La Pinta dinner plate. It was a Taco, tostada and a Enchilada with red sauce. Chose all chicken

with the beans and rice…. Absolutely Delicious. The chips and salsa were Awesome while you had a few drinks and conversed with family and friends. I wish they would open back up. Or at least put out a recipe book.

My kids loved that red sauce they use to top the tacos and tostadas with. It wasn’t spicy but it was slightly sweet. If you can figure out that recipe or if it was a canned product please let us know. Thank you for trying.

I miss Mario’s El Burro Chile Verde and Mario’s El Burro Chili Rellenos. Your Verde recipe is perfect! Can you figure out the recipe for Chili Rellanos? What El Burro Family should do is make a recipe book and sell it. I would buy a copy of it plus more for family!

Can you PLEASE duplicate their chicken from the chicken fajitas? It had like a tequila lime taste to it and was amazing. I spent every birthday there from the ‘80s until a few years ago and every time going Id always get chicken fajitas. Please recreate that chicken!
